this boy is stressful. the good news is that they have ruled out all things really bad. they think it is something viral creating the arthritic symptoms. some blood levels were slightly elevated and he is being followed by a specialist. the symptoms are being controlled with medication but he still has flareups the minute he does not take the medication.
thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and support. we do not say this lightly when we say how thankful we are for all of our family and friends.
the really good news is he can still play baseball this spring. the boy is obsessed. we have also been cleared to proceed with his ear tube surgery so at least he will be able to hear making him less grampa-like.
