Kuker

Kuker is a very lovable little boy but sometimes having a conversation with him is like speaking to someone with dementia. He gives various answers to the same question. He says he likes certain food then when given more of it he no longer likes it. He has circular conversations that leave everyone frustrated.

I am not sure how to explain it. Gormah always talks about how her African ma would make medicine for them when they were sick. She also made it for other people in the village. Lori and I often joke that the medicine she made was meth because Kuker does not always seem all there.

This morning Kuker and Ben had gotten in bed with us. Gormah walks in and Kuker says, "Hey, I know you. You were in Africa with me". What? Okay dude. We all kind of laughed uncomfortably. Even Gormah did not make fun of him because his comment was so weird I think even she was worried about him.

Very lovable and cute but ...wow. That is all I am going to say about that. If anyone has insight please share.

I think the comments are random with these boys. Akins does some of the same things. Today he told me something about me in Africa when I said I never did that he say yes you did remember Mommy when you climbed the tree. I assure you there was no tree climbing. Maybe their Ma served Akins some meth too. Hang in there it may just be little boy stuff - their attention span seems short enough to possibly forget they have a sister all together!
