The girls have a 30 minute conversation on what they want to do. They weigh their options, discuss the pros and the cons, they barter to get the other to do what they want, they discuss their feelings about their choice and then they have run out of time to play.

This is the truth! People who say boys & girls are basically the same don't have any. My 3 boys share a room, my 3 girls MUST have separate rooms -- just so they can have down time from all their emotional work it out sessions.

So true! I'm really hoping my son will go a long way to balancing out all of the estrogen in our house - it's overwhelming some days!
