Flashlights and shades.
Flashlights and shades are the comfort items for Gormah and Kuker. We had toys and bears and blankets. We did not think flashlights and shades would be the items that they carry with them everywhere. They are so funny wearing sunglasses or as they call them "shades" everywhere. They wear them to the grocery story, to school, to church, to bed...you name it they have them on. It does not matter if it is day or night or sunny or rainy they have got to wear shades. Kuker wears them propped up on his forehead like a little man. Gormah looks like the unibomber because she has these big shades and often wears a hood. They crack me up but they derive great comfort from these items. Kuker had a hard time going to bed but a flashlight has solved all our problems.

I always have to ask Princess where my flashlight is. She loves that thing!

Akins sleeps with a light on and a flashlight under his pillow. Very afraid of the "kookie" man. Ask Kurker about it I know Jessica's kids are afraid too.
He also has a flashlight in the car and sometimes in his pocket. He loves sunglasses but always wears them upside down!
