Our favorite part of vacation involved coconuts. When Gormah and Kuker saw the palm trees they were very excited. Gormah had so many stories about coconuts. She talked a lot about how to climb and get them, selling them, drinking coconut water and how to break them open. Who knew coconuts were so exciting.
Lori bought four coconuts and gave one to each child. Gormah showed them how to bust them open. What shells were edible and which parts were not. She showed them how to get the juice. She was glowing and the kids had so much fun breaking them open and eating them. As you can tell by the first picture, Kennedy was not a fan of the coconut water but she loved eating the coconuts.
It was a small thing but when we asked each child their favorite part about vacation they all mentioned the coconuts.
