Shout Out To Lori

Lori graduates this Saturday. She still has four weeks of classes left but for the most part the drain of her doing an accelerated masters program is over. She completed a two year program in a year while maintaining the following:
-A 3.9 grade point average.
-A new demanding job
-Continually making sure she was there for the kids throughout the year.
-Supporting me and all my breakdowns about the adoption.
-Transitioning Gormah and Kuker.
-Constantly making our lives happy when hers was close to hell.

In the course of our relationship, we have been richer and poorer. We have experienced job changes, death, birth, sickness, health, adoption, acquiring a business, selling a business, getting her masters and many other life events to personal to mention on the blog. We have never had a ceremony nor will we be allowed to anytime in the near future, but I never been more committed or in love with anyone in my life. We have fun. Even when things suck, there is noone else I would want my life to suck with. I know there are things that I could not have gotten through if it had not been for her. I also know the happy times were happier because of her.

I am so proud of her. She has worked hard to accomplish this. Getting her masters was not a dream of hers but she knew it would be beneficial to our family, so she did it. This year was hard all the way around but it was hardest on her. She missed out on a lot and we missed her tremendously. Congratulations Lori! You are done. Welcome home.

I think I just found a new Hallmark saying and one perfect for my upcoming anniversary, "There is noone else I would want my life to suck with."
Congrats Lori, you both are amazing.
