Santa and the Judge

Before Christmas we had two very exciting events. The first was the kids seeing Santa. The boys were beyond excited. Kennedy went with the flow. Gomah kept saying she was NOT going to sit in his lap. The good thing about four kids is that there was not room for all of them to sit in his lap anyway. She was off the hook.
The second exciting thing was that we did a second adoption here so that the kids can get birth certificates and be citizens of America. Gomah legally dropped the "r" in her name. She wanted to because the "r" is silent when her name is pronounced. All the family, including Lori, have Nodler as a last name. I have to say I was surprised at how unified it made us feel as a family. We also moved Gomah's birthday up one month. So all the paperwork is done. We both have custody over all the children and all adoption issues are over. It was a happy day!

This is awesome. I am jealous of the ability to share your kids legally in KY. OK is so far behind. Congrats!
