Kuker is very mischievous. Not bad, but likes to live on the edge and then count on his smile and big brown eyes to get him out of whatever he just got into. He has twins in his class that are also from Africa. Kuker calls them "my two twins". I played with my two twins. I ate lunch with my two twins. Everyday we hear about his two twins. It just dawned on me to tell him they were also from Africa. He was awed. His eyes got huge and he states very excitedly "My two twins are from Africa? My Africa?". I confirm this and he is silent...letting it absorb.
Half of the trouble he gets into at school is when he is with his two twins. The other half is because he is rotten. Yesterday, I asked him what he did to lose a dollar at school. His school has a paper money system for behavior. Usually when he has done something wrong he looks ashamed and very serious. This time he is trying not to smile and those big brown eyes light up. He says "Mom, my two twins just make me laugh too much". Good thing for big brown eyes and a cute smile.

That is so cute - well now it is in 10 years it won't be. Akins says "my Africa" too. Interesting.
