Major Miscommunication

Our director informed us on Friday that K does not have his passport. She told us that due to the Liberian accents she misunderstood "applied for passports" as "received passports". She states she was informed by the Ministry of Health in Liberia that K's application has been lost.

Here are our options:
-MOH finds his passport application.
-MOH pursues various avenues and then confirms it is indeed lost.
-If MOH confirms the passport is lost, we can then reapply for the passport.

I feel a greater sense of loss in thinking we had it and then finding out we did not. The desire to have our children home weighs on us every minute. It consumes us.
