Spring Break '08

Here are our top 10 (good and bad) Spring Break '08 memories:

10) Cycles, cycles and more cycles. We have ridden cycles (or bikes) more over this break than we have in the last 10 years.

9) Watching all the kids climb trees, play in creeks and run in the backyard.

8) Four trips to the doctor due to Ben having scarlet fever (they think), Kuker having a bump on his leg, which turned out to be a staph infection (it had to be scraped and drained...no fun) and other viral germs that decided to visit our children over spring break.

7) Dispensing 5 separate medicines to 3 different kids twice a day.

6) Sleeping in to 7:00 and ice cream after lunch each day.

5) Taking the boys to the opening game of a minor league baseball game. They had so much fun and we had great seats so they could see everything.

4) The girls spending the night with Nana (thanks mom). They had a blast and we had a break.

3) The weather was incredible and we were able to play and eat outside most days.

2) Taking the kids to the zoo. It was kind of funny to show them all the animals from Africa that they saw for the first time in Kentucky.

1) Being home together. After a rough start, things have smoothed out tremendously. It was incredible to be together and bond as a family.

I am sad spring break is coming to an end but am looking forward to all the kids going to school tomorrow. Really looking forward to all the kids going to school tomorrow. Really.
