Ben and I spent the morning at the zoo. I love to have one on one time with our children. It is rare when it occurs ( and about to become even more rare once G and K arrive) but it is something Lori and I try to do.
We are at the zoo, just he and I, and he can do anything he wants. Of course, we ride the train and then start to walk to see the animals. The zoo has a new baby elephant, an albino croc and a fun gorilla exhibit. We spent the majority of the morning watching squirrels chase one another up a tree. When the squirrels left we had to locate more squirrels. We did pass the elephant exhibit in the search for squirrels but they were not chasing each other up trees so we passed them by.
I love that children take delight in the small things and are often oblivious to the big picture. As we are leaving the zoo, Ben states " I had a fun day". That is the best feeling in the world.

Kids are so cool! I'm glad that you got some time to do something fun one on one. I hope your e-mail is fixed soon! Take care,
Sharon
Shelby,
I am not getting any of your emails either. Do you think it is your provider, or maybe getting a yahoo email address. Can you get on the blog to read what the others suggested? I miss you so I hope you get it figured out soon:)! Jess
