THE KIDS ARE FINALLY OUT OF THE CAMERA

I am not computer savy. People who know me will agree. I know this will also be a big surprise for the muaa group after my "mistake". This blog is like working chemical equations for me. However, it has really motivated me to learn more about the computer. The blog has already accomplished getting photos developed that have been in our camera since last summer.
The original picture of Lori and I was over a year old. We have both gone through several hair styles since then and have settled on our "moms-of-four styles". Short and easy. So we wanted to update our picture on the blog and get some recent photos of Ben and Kennedy up.
Still figuring out how to label the pictures...baby steps. In going through all the pictures it is amazing to me the passage of time. I have never been so aware of time since having children. Things change so quickly and time is measured in so many different ways. Doctor appointments, milestones, school years and birthdays. The kids have grown so much. The house has changed. Lori and I have changed. Time seems to go so quickly...unless you are adopting and then things do not seem to move quickly enough. No news on the adoption. Everyday I hope to hear something. 99.9% of the time there is disappointment.
In looking back at how much Kennedy and Ben have grown, time is rushing by. Hours seem like minutes. In looking ahead at when Gormah and Kurker will be home with us, time trudges along. Minutes seem like hours.
MUAA...I miss you!! I keep trying to post hoping it will magically go through. No luck. I am thinking of you all.

Shelby & Lori,

I thoroughly enjoyed reading your blog! Thanks for sharing your story - we have lots of similarities - will share later. The names are priceless! Is there a story behind the backhoe? I'm sure you've heard it before, but you look like sisters! Kennedy and Ben are adorable!

Shelby and Lori,

MUAA misses you too! Keep posting here and hey private emails work too although I realize not as efficient. Your family is so cute and trust me that whole minutes, hours, hours, minutes will all sort itself out. 5 weeks with Akins went by in a millisecond! Hang in there. Valerie
